An Update on Last Night's Results

Let me start with this. Yesterday was an extremely emotional and difficult day for many of us, and I hope that you are staying well and taking care of yourself.

I do want to update you on the results of our race for Vallejo Mayor. The race remains too close to call, but we have taken the lead and are currently ahead by 215 votes. Given the current trajectory, I feel confident in our position and our chance of winning this race.  But with so much of the vote left to be counted, I want to respect the voices of the many Vallejoans whose ballots are still being processed before making a further statement on the state of the race.

Results are posted every day between 5 and 5:30 PM. You can follow along here.

What I can say is that I am so incredibly proud of our community and grateful for everyone who has supported the campaign — from the volunteers to the voters, to those who donated what they could. I am awestruck by the support and the love that I have felt this election.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I will update you when we have more information on the state of the race, but for now, we continue to wait.

No matter what, community always wins because we always have each other’s backs.
